About Expeditions

Jeff Andrechyn is the director of Expeditions of the Heart. Jeff is an airline pilot, married for 21 years and father of two teenagers. In 2001 Jeff attended a Wild at Heart conference in Colorado with a group of men. Jeff and these men (his band of brothers) were greatly affected by the message and subsequent calling to bring this message home to the men of Charlottesville VA.

Jeff started a meeting at his local church to reach men called “The Cave” (1Sam 22). The meetings are very informal and fun while they deliver a very penetrating message to men. These meetings began to take on a life of their own as many of the men found new life and encouragement.

A group of men have now taken this message to a larger city venue with a non profit called Expeditions of the Heart.

Where we are hanging out these days:

On Wednesday nights this Fall we will be meeting as a company of men and women as we continue sharing our lives and stories together. We enjoy great teaching, occasionally some good food together and mostly the chance to walk with God in an atmosphere that is refreshingly free.
