Lynn Winn's Bio
Lynn Winn received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland—European Division in 1991 and her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Colorado Christian University in 1992. She has been a licensed professional counselor for 18 years. She began her private practice in Colorado with a focus on struggling marriages, addictions, and sexual abuse. She has been privileged to assist Dr. Dan Allender with Recovery Weeks for women who have been sexually abused over the span of those eighteen years. She was also part of the Ransomed Heart women’s ministry team, speaking at Captivating Retreats from 2001 through January of 2005.
Now licensed and living in Virginia, the focus of her clinical practice is in training and supervision of counselors needing supervision hours for licensure, and consulting with licensed practitioners assisting them in meeting their own therapeutic and professional goals.
Lynn is married, the mother of two children, and ‘Nana’ to three winsome grandchildren. She loves words, books, or story in any form. C. S. Lewis, Frederick Buechner, and poet John Donne are among her favorite writers, speaking to her about the Lover of her soul. Her passion in work, ministry and relationship is to ‘recapture the hearts of God’s people for Himself (Eze. 14: 5)
Lynn's event is currently sold out. Expeditions hopes to hold similar events like this in the future.
